We had a fantastic stay at 23 Tollgate Cottages. the location was perfect, right by the sea front and within walking distance of dog-friendly areas of the beach. We enjoyed meals and drinks at nearby pubs and restaurants such as the Old Fort and the Boat House. the cottage itself was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen. the enclosed outside space was great for sitting out and enjoying the fresh air, and it provided a secure area for our dogs. We felt safe and secure in this quiet cul-de-sac, and we are already looking forward to coming back!

We felt safe and secure with the gated entrance to the cottages. Parking was convenient, and we appreciated the proximity to the beach and a lovely pub. Although we faced a few drawbacks like the lack of local shops within walking distance, no stalls for ice cream or coffee at the nearby beach, and a shortage of certain kitchen items, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this property and the beautiful surrounding area.

We had a great stay at this beachside cottage. the rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and lovely hot showers. the kitchen had everything we needed, although the oven was a bit tricky to figure out. the location was perfect, just a short walk to a dog-friendly beach and a charming pub. We felt safe and secure in this quiet cul-de-sac, and there was ample parking available. the fenced patio area was a bonus, although our dog managed to escape a few times to chase rabbits in the beautiful meadow nearby!

We found the sofas to be uncomfortable and some areas of the cottage lacked detailed cleaning. It would have been nice to have more outdoor furniture, as a picnic bench was not sufficient.
